Forged Aluminium Parts

Forging is a manufacturing process where the metal is pressed and squeezed under pressure to produce high-strength parts. Previously, using steel as the metal, trends in the automotive sector, assure the use of the aluminum due to its high strength with low weight property. The forging process is used in applications where performance and strength are critical requirements. The forged parts are generally used at points of stress and shocks like pistons, gears and wheel spindles.

There are mainly three types of forging processes: open-die forging; closed-die forging; and ring-rolled forging.

To serve our customers in almost every area, Kalibre Group also invests in the forging process. Capable of closed-die forging, Kalibre Aluminum can produce an almost limitless variety of shapes. Closed die forging gives us to manufacture more intricate designs and tighter tolerances. In this process, the dies move towards each other and cover the part in whole or in part.
